Lisa has a way with words that captivates you. I'm glad that her life turned around and that she was able to cuts with Lilith.
I love this book it speaks life and value to a lot of people who have dealt with or is dealing with this same situation I myself have been in the same shoes as Leon as a child going through the similar things with my mother I wasn't going to leave her side I was going to ride it all the way out with her she is my inspiration she (my mother) has taught me a very valuable lesson in giving someone your heart make sure that they love you the same way. Thanks Lisa for the dedication I myself didn't know half of what my father went through and still don't know the full truth. Maybe one day I can get the full understanding and truth on my father's illness. Love you much keep up the good work your doing to inspire others to tell there story of mentall and physical abuse.
Wow! The author bares her soul in this woeful, brutal and painful journey through mental illness and the betrayal of a trusted friend and loved ones. Not to mention the challenge of motherhood at the same time. I applaud her and her saving Faith in God, which was very inspirational, as well as her closing statement 'As my life continues, so shall my story'......May God grant Lisa Y. Sparrow mercy and grace......
